Modify 71 - Clio 200 Cup Track Car Build - Part 2
Following on from part 1, a few more bits and pieces have been done the shop Clio. First up was fitting a new toyosports exhaust manifold as we were able to source one for a reasonable price, safe to say it has enhanced the sound and looks brilliant.
Following this a visit to AW motorworks where the Clio underwent the overdue timing belt/aux belt change, as well as a new alternator which has put an end to the dreaded 'low battery' warning coming up on the dash after 15 minutes. Whilst they had the car I also got the front arm front bushes changed out for Polybushes, a fantastic upgrade over stock bushes and improves handling, performance and feel.
It was noted during the belt replacement that the lower 'dog bone mount' could do with a change due to the old one perishing, as you can see it was well overdue.
I was then able to pickup a ktec racing induction kit for a really good price, it was an easy install and the induction sound is brilliant, couldn't recommend this enough.
The car in it's current form, a few more modifications to go yet but it is starting to take form.
